Love when the lighting is just right; you can see the texture of my skin, the wisp of my lashes, the gloss of my nails, and my eye glowing ember ✨ makeup is art, but so is editing 🎨 Most of the time my phone can pick up some really unflattering textures and my “ideal” editing style is to blur/disguise imperfections that take away from the focal point I’m trying to show my audience. Therefore, I do use smoothing and tones tools to achieve that with my final photos. But ever so often my basic household lamp and iPhone do their magic and I get an image where I don’t want to hide anything ✨ I enjoy editing just as much as the makeup and photography side of my work, and am very open to talking about it. I love looking back at old photos and seeing how much I have progressed in my makeup skills and also my editing skills.
